Welcome to Norway

Congratulations on receiving an internship in Norway! We hope this chance to experience Norway will be interesting and beneficial for you. Your stay also means a lot to the members of IAESTE, and we look forward to get to know you. IAESTE Norway has several students who will help and assist you before, under and after your stay. These are called Reception Officers (abbr. RO). Our Reception Officers will help you with everything you need to know or help you get in touch with the right person. Do not hesitate to contact your Reception Officer for help. You can find the Reception Officer for your city here.

What you need to do before arriving in Norway:

  • apply for and be granted a work permit (only for non-EU/EFTA/EEA citizens)
  • read all the pages in the “Welcome to Norway” section.
  • register at http://selfservice.udi.no

We hope that you will not have any problems with your preparations for coming to Norway, but if you have any questions or problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.
